Upon arriving at Pension Tabaza, I found a clean and spacious room in a separate building, a refreshing change from the usual cramped quarters. the small kitchenette was a bonus, allowing me to whip up a quick meal, and the outdoor washing line came in handy for drying my hiking gear. the location, 15 km from Gijon, was ideal for breaking up my Camino del Norte journey. Two nearby bars offered dining options, with one serving a menu of the day in the evenings, while the other provided early breakfast, catering to different schedules. While the room lacked some luxury amenities like a mini-bar or garden furniture, the value for money was evident in the generous space and practical facilities. the free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV were nice touches, adding some comfort to my stay. Pension Tabaza strikes a good balance between affordability and convenience, making it a sensible choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option.
